Why isn't there a SHI TV series in the makes?

Hmm..

I don't really think it would be done properly myself...

I'd hate to see be churned out like some "Dark Angel" style show...

I just see Shi working better as a movie myself.

BROTHER!!!! I'm gonna have to go with the disposable assassin here on this topic.  We don't need another awful super heroine tv series. Dark Angel was awful, so was Witchblade, & who watches Alias & Bffy is now pulled off the air.
The only time SHI is made for tv is if it is animated (like kinda like an Aeon Flux / Spawn type show.  & if u wanna see a good Shi actress contender who's independant than check out the latest post on the Shi: Actress Candidate cauz i doubt anybody went to check it. http://www.williamtucci.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=Shi;action=display;num=1049059861;start=36

Well, I certainly don't want to see a churned-out piece-of-crap SHI-TV show either...
However ANY version of the character on TV would do 2 important things...
1)  Generate more brand awareness of the character outside our little bitty insulated comics world.
2)  Generate more money ($Ka-CHING!$) for Billy which he could no doubt use to support his growing publishing empire, thereby allowing more SHI print books that ARE on target for the character and what you really like/want in the first place.

I was just thinking that economically, it makes sense to try to capture some of the green flowing around and put it to good use before the well runs dry.
What do you guys think?
Billy?  Comments?
