Instead of giving any more excuses I'm opening this thread to house any work I want to share with everyone here. The first is a digital painting of Shi [Work In Progress] Let me know what you think!

Really killer! I think the face and make-up are spot on. It also has a nice sense of movement.

Reminds me of the women in the music video "Simply Irrestistable!" If it all turns out as well as the face, you have a winner.

Thanks everyone for your kind words! This is an experiment using the Wacom brushes in PhotoShop Elements. I was going for an 80s vibe so the Palmer girls resemblance is intentional. I'll be posting more of my other work in a bit.

Nice renditions. The Joker looks cool and calculating, less a pscyopath than he's been lately. Your Catwoman makes me want to do bad things with her. The rest of the cast looks good, but I'd like to see some of the characters' body shapes differ, get a more varied look to some of these, not every female character can look as if she works the catwalk for a day job.

Thanks so much Delvie, haven't heard from you in ages; how are you bro?! To answer your question, everything you see here is done 100% digitally using Corel Painter and Corel Sketchbook. Scanning pencil/pen work has become too cumbersome and I find the ability to work in non-destructive layers has helped me to grow as an artist and experiment more freely. I still do keep physical sketchbooks to jot stuff down, but all of the art I show online is done using my Wacom Tablet and software. And just me know when you want me to do something for you again. I'd be more than happy to give you something kick-ass to make other collectors jealous ;-p More art and some prints on DeviantArt coming up. Make sure to check my page as things move along. You can find it here: http://mikivalentine.deviantart.com/

Love to see this in color. I'd like to see the coloring on the make-up and tattoo, and the detail in the clothing.

It's funny you mention that because I have some old line art of a mummy I did on my computer. The idea was for a DVD menu I wanted to make. I ended up using Patricia Fields's model Giselle as reference for this vampire mummy. It's not as "sexy" as most of the other works on the site you linked to, but I though you'd at least find it interesting.

HAHA! I'm glad! You can see the full/high resolution image if you go here: http://fav.me/d2fzmvhIt's also available as a print in sizes up to 30 x 45 inches if you ever want an actual copy. Also, here is some new concept art for the Batman thing I'm working on. Hope you like it!
