Maybe he's mad at me since I didn't make it to the Cape Girardeau show he was at last month.
Have you asked Martheus to do any sketch covers for you? I have a couple of quick sketches he's done. Of course they are beautifully rendered.

Hey. Cool to see this made it here.
Sorry I have not responded and sent out the newsletter to everyone. Especially sorry I missed sending it to you pctchuck. I have just been able to breathe a bit while taking care of a newborn. LOL. Hopefully I can be back on here more. Glad you liked the sketches tho.

Martheus, no problem, I kind of remember those days when I had to chase a child around. He's 17 now, and I'm still chasing him, just for different reasons. Ever since he was featured in an early issue of Shi, he thinks he's a child of privilage.
Delvie, you really should get with Martheus and have him do a drawing for you. He's great at maintaining a sense of what Billy wants Ana to look like when he draws her.

First and foremost, I am a shi fan from the days of the first series. So, I try to keep that feel when I sketch her. Tho' a little more... busty sometimes. That's one of the things Billy wanted me to change on my first draft of the pages. I try to keep in in check. lol.

speaking of bust sizes..... if anyone recalls back to that shi/jetta drawing competition, one of my early sketch ideas was to have the ladies switch costumes. a disgruntled shi was having trouble filling out the jetta costume, and jetta was, er, overfilling the shi costume.
gotta dig up and scan...

I want to but I have had to cut my conventions since my son was born. So, I'm not sure if it would be worth it to the readers to pick it up. However, shoot me a line and I'll send you a Jetta sketch if you want. |

Be ready to be snowed under by the requests. But then again, with the board pretty inactive today, maybe the number of requests will be low.
