Thanks! I always have the book compleed before it is solicited. Besides, Diamond has been giving us a hard time about if they are going to distribute this or not. I'm begining to think that they just don't like us. It doesn't matter to us either way because this book is going to kick major butt. And it will get published with or without Diamond. Anywho, Cold Cut will be distributing this as well. That is a definite. We have also opened a retailer section on our website, so all of our books including Shi / Jetta will be offered there as well. This book will not be hard to find for fans of Shi and Jetta. We just have to make sure everyone knows where to go to get it. If you know a retailer, and you want to make sure this book hits your store, tell them about us and the site. They will not want to miss this one. |

Unless you have been living in some dark cave, you know about the upcoming Jetta / Shi: Arrow of Destiny crossover that will be hitting comic stores and toshigawa.com this July. To show some fan appreciation, we at MAW Productions in conjunction with Billy Tucci have decided to hold an art contest. JETTA / SHI: ARROW OF DESTINY (July 2008) After years of undisturbed peace, an unknown evil threatens Honno-Ji again. Tenkai, a mysterious monk, must call on the help of a descendant of the Sohei (Shi) & the descendant of the Toshigawa (Jetta) to honor an age-old promise to protect the Arrow of Nobunaga. To celebrate, we are holding an art contest at TOSHIGAWA.COM. Illustrate Jetta and Shi and win two free copies of Jetta / Shi: Arrow of Destiny. One will have a Jetta cover and the other copy will have the Shi alternate. Both copies will be signed by the creative team. Yeah, All ten of them.
I believe those 18 were over $200 - a rediculous amount for a single zero issue.
At that moment, after paying for those, I told myself this is insane and stopped collecting SHI comics as a purist, having to have every variant issue printed.

Sorry I haven't been here in a while. I have been under the weather. There is only the 2 covers guys. I also am a collector and I hate it when there are a gazillion covers on books that I'm collecting.  The date for release is set for July! But, if you guys have used DCBS before or order your comics online, you can pre-order your books now!
