In the Lady Death/Shi comics from Avatar I need to find the Pencil Sketch of Shi face only. I have one copy of the colored version with the gold foil,and I have seen the penciled sketch of Lady Death herself, but not the comic with Shi only. Has anybody else seen it? Do you know which comic # it is. If you are unsure what I am refering to here is a link to the picture. http://www.crusade-fan.com/lady_death/shi_ld_1b.jpg Any help would be appreciated. I looked on Comic Cavalcade site at all the Lady Death/Shi comics since march till now still do not see it. Larry |

Thanks so much for the help so far, anything is a possibility, Still would love to get a comic of it. Maybe the way Avatar has been doing things they may have not used the Shi one,who knows.

I do not know it the pencil version came out or not
One of the members toranoshi has a comic shop.
and has a real good line on what is out and not.
he is also the best place to buy your books at.
we Shi fans stick together.

That cover would be Lady Death Shi # 1 Tucci Pencils Edition. It has not yet been solicited. I assume it will be in about a month or two since Avatar is milking Shi for as much as it can. Also, if you check in the Shi solicitations threads(they are broken up by month in the main Crusade News folder)

Ok so to be perfectly clear on this matter the pencil sketch in question is NOT out yet and I can stop going crazy looking for it. And most think it will be out in one or two months more?? is that correct?
Now sllamky01 has mentioned boycotting Avatar,what is the general feeling about that? I have been wanting to get the issues of Shi: Poisioned Paradise, Shi: Sempo and Shi: Pandora's Box but have not yet Do you guys have them,are they worth getting?
What is anybody feeling on all the foils and such? What gets me more then the foils is slapping 2 or 300 gold convention stickers on a regular comic and charging more for them because they only did that to a few. Is that sticker worth the extra 2.00?
I am all for sticking together and supporting one another. right in my home town we no longer have a comic shop at all, so sad...about 15 or 20 minutes away we do have one that I am trying to support to a degree ..getting my Hulk War stuff there and other things. But would be happy to give toranoshi some business as well.
Not sure if there is a thread dealing with all of this Avatar stuff or not would love to get all of your opinions on things concerning that. There has been a couple of artist's covers on the above mentioned comics I really do like.
toranoshi do you have all of those issues??

I have some of the covers for the various Preview, #0, #1, and #2 and I can probably get most of the covers to from issue 1 and 2 still. If there is a particular book you are looking for let me know and I can check and see if I have it in stock or if I can still get it from Diamond. |

I would have boycotted these, but my comic shop noticed we missed ordering these so they ordered them for us.............he takes care of us so I now feel obligated to buy them from him.......
Shame cuz Dawn and I actually got into a hair pulling contest over ordering or not ordering.........just to have the whole thing out of our hands anyway
