This sounds an awful lot like "Victoria Cross"
From Zentertainment
WORLD OF TOMORROW Castings - VARIETY reports Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Jude Law will co-star in the sci-fi thriller THE WORLD OF TOMORROW. Set shortly before World War II, Jolie will play a pilot who teams up with a swashbuckling colleague (Law) and a journalist (Paltrow). Giovanni Ribisi and Bai Ling are also in talks to star.
Though my agent believes this is a good thing and others will be willing to do period pieces, it really ruined my weekend.

I hope you're right. Â Pehaps now, film execs will be more eager to approach period peices starring hot young chicks who fly and kill fascists. ;D

Wait, I've got to write that down. After all leather does offer nice wind protection.
