well he will be in the 2008 Iron Man movie.

I dont know about anyone else but there has to be a better choice then him.

Bruce Campbell would have been my choice. He would have played Tony Stark pretty well I think.

I am shocked that Robert Downey Jr. would even be considered. The last thing I read he was in rehab again and working on his "singing career".

Is is for sure Robert Downey Jr. is the final pick for the role, or are they just suggesting him at the moment?

The director, Jon Favreau, is also linked to the film John Carter of Mars, "On the back burner at Paramount for the time being".  His main claims to fame as a director so far seem to be Elf & Zathura...

Might I also ad from the recent pages of Civil War that Iron Man is also a d*ck!  Same goes for Tucci's best friend Reed Richards. :P
