There was an interview in Wizard in 2005 that I was unaware of, if anybody is interested:

There is a video for Maxim's photo shoot of Mandy here:

after commercial, of course

I remember being pretty bummed that she didn't mention doing two Shi covers first and also being used for the mini-bust statue.  If this is the same article.  Oh well, I'll ask her someday about it, but by the time I saw her at another show in 06's pretty much forgot about it.

Yah. I noticed there wasn't any mention of Shi. Had she not been on the cover of Shi, I wouldn't have even known who she was.

All the more reason to cast Cecilia Cheung in Shi!!! :D

Actually, after reading the article I think the reason why she omitted mentioning Shi was because she was promoting her boyfriends comic book Kabuki. She probably did not want to make her boyfriend jealous that she posed for Shi.

ahh Mandy, she's so awesome. First time I met her, I seriously thought she was THE most beautiful person I've ever seen... (I think it was 2 years ago in Dallas). But besides the obvious praise, she is also very nice, caring and funny. I wish Mandy lots of success in everything she persues.

Scott took a picture of me and Mandy Amano.  I have it in my office at work.  People think we are married.  I let them think it.

I always presumed that she mentioned it and Wizard edited it out.
