Dan Brereton’s Nocturnals Vol 1 HC
If you’re a horror comic buff there are a few names that come to the forefront of the class as masters of the macabre. Names like Bernie Wrightson, Mike Mignola, Kelley Jones, Gene Colan and of course, Dan Brereton, line the ghoulish halls with their nightmare imagery and keen sense of graphic storytelling. This month Olympian Publishing unearths and remasters all of the original Nocturnals stories in their beautiful line of oversized hard cover editions. Each book contains new story material bridging gaps in the various mini-series and even includes a few new original Brereton stories featuring the usual suspects: Doc Horror, Polychrome, Gunwitch, Starfish, Firelion, Komodo, and the Raccoon. For years Brereton’s incredible painted art has captivated fans of fright with its ability to capture the most insane nightmare images this side of the afterlife. If you enjoy captivating storytelling, uniquely frightening characters, and a healthy dose of freakish Hitchcockian events then pencil in a copy of Dan Brereton’s Nocturnals Volume 1 Hard Cover and join the legions of undead fans who’ve followed this groundbreaking series from the beginning!
