Okay, so I was definitely already looking forward to this book because Jim wrote it... but I wasn't prepared for how cool it was going to be. For format alone, not to mention the awesome art and story, this book is a keeper. If you missed it, go get it. (No, I'll wait here. Just go get it. Now.) You'll thank me later.

There are several different artists including character and set designs by Guy David, Matt Smith covers, character designs by Phil Hester, and the beautiful interior art which is by three people, the names of whom escape me -- I've been up since 5 transcribing an interview and my brain is melting.

Added Later
Art credits: Matt Smith, Zach Howard, Michael Halbleib, painted art and color by Brett Weldele

Curse you JC VAUGHN!
Yes, dammit, CLOCKMAKER was really really good!
But your claims of "You'll thank me" could not have been more wrong!
I have been trying to cut back on 'non-essential' titles.
It looks like this on is now an 'essential' title.....damn!
I was hoping to stick with FLASH untill #200 inspite of the fact that it has been kind of sucking, but now it's looking like somethings got to go!.....

What did you think of the format? I know some folks will complain, but I think it's awesome. I'm already trying to figure out how to get something of mine in the same size.

Have you read Jim's series FOOT SOLDIERS? If not, they're in trades from AiT.

I have the Foot Soldiers TPB's already.
One of my top favorite 'ODD' superhero-but-not-superhero titles!

Don't have a lot of original art in the collection, but I have page one of FS #1. Happy about that.
