I watched it.  It was funny in spots.  Not sure how worthwhile this movie is compared to getting a SHI movie done.

Don't even go there.  The movie is a parody of all the past Chinese classic kungfu movies and was never meant to be taken seriously.  Asia is still reeling from the shock that the rest of the world is actually taking this movie seriously.

You would have to know all the old classics in order to get all the in jokes and innuendoes.  I don't really think this is the kind of example Shi should be based on.

While I did not take it seriously and realized it was a parody, I liked certain spots but not most of the film.  Maybe you are right, I just didn't get the jokes.  I think a more worthwhile use of money and movie making would be to get a SHI movie on the market vs making KUNG FU parodies.
