Well 1st off nuthings's official with marvel he just wants to make his ideas intact if he can convince Joe Quesada to agree on this project.
Well from what I know Billy has made a decision on who he will write & draw a story on, but I dont know if Billy would want me to reveal it. But well the hint is it's like one of his favorite heroes of all time.

So Captain America then?

I won't press the issue, I was merely curious.

I'd like to post my pitch treatment for you all to see and think I will tonight.   :P

I originally concieved the idea as an "Ulitmates" storyline, but changed it around due to Marvel's requests from me.  Next time I speak to them, I will still push the idea of doing a Captain America Ultimates book focusing on the Golden Age.  Though this storyline takes place in 1945 the last two issues could easily be put in the future.  I'm sorry to tease but am waiting for JCV to yell at me, but it's my forum so I guess I could do what I'd like with it and really want to hear some of your suggestions.  I've also been reading Hot Target ! and should finish that tonight as well!  Woo Hoo!  I've also got another storyline that Gary Cohn and I wrote years ago titled "Shi - The Ring of Fire" almost ready to send to DH as well.  Hopefully we'll have two new Shi series (a monthly and a mini) out in 2006.

I also want to draw the first five issue story arc for Captain America, then draw the next Shi series.

CREATIVE BRIEF (new take on character/s, story ideas, high concept):

TITLE:
CAPTAIN AMERICA - KRIEGEN!

THE CHARACTERS:
Captain America, Agent Betty Ross (Golden Girl), Sgt. Fury and His Howling Commandos, The Human Torch, The Red Skull, Baron Heinrich Zemo, Arnim Zola and of course, the introduction of the ultimate Nazi Super Soldier,  "Der Kriegen."

Real Life Historical Role Players:
Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Winston Churchill, and Josef Mengele

THE STORY
1945 - The Allies are on the verge of total victory.  In desperation, Hitler has mobilized the Third Reich's "four cornerstones" of perverted science - The Red Skull, Zemo, Zola and Mengele to create the ultimate Nazi Super Soldier, der Kriegen.  Coinciding with the German's last offensive of the War, der Kriegen is unleashed, causing destruction all along the Western Front.  On intel provided by missing FBI Agent Betty Ross (Code Name - "Golden Girl") our hero fights the Nazi from skies filled with flaming aircraft to the shadow of Zola's Weisshorn Castle, only to lose his shield and the battle -- badly.

It will take the heroic efforts of everyday soldier Sgt. Nick Fury and his Howling Commandos to drive off the Teutonic Behemoth and save their star spangled brother in arms.

As the wounded Cap is airlifted back to Allied lines, Sgt. Fury and the Commandos must once again flout orders to do the right thing and complete Cap's mission - to save the agent, recover the shield and destroy the Kriegen facilities at Weisshorn Castle - even if they have to battle the four cornerstones, der Kriegen and the Swiss Army to do it!

While Steve Rogers recuperates back in the USA, it become painfully obvious that the super soldier's physical injuries are not the problem, but that he's suffering from the all too common and notorious "shell shock."

President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, his body crippled by polio and the stress of a nation, will be the one that helps our wounded hero recover his fighting spirit. After all, "It's not a super-soldier serum that made Captain America."  This self-professed "flawed man" will proudly confess to being a pin-carrying member of Captain America's Sentinels of Liberty, and that he is in awe of Steve Rogers and all the young man has bled for. These emotionally charged moments bring the prodigal son to the foot of the President's deathbed, to once again don the new and improved red, white and blue armor of Captain America.

"Your country needs you soldier" will herald the return of Captain America, who must once again battle der Kriegen, but this time on the very streets of New York City.  Unlike a repeat of Weisshorn Mountain, this battle will be nothing more than a good old American street brawl of fists and knees and shields.  Here the two super-soldiers engage in the most brutally realistic fight ever seen in comics!  The warrior's grapple, stomp, and smash into cars, iron fences, and garbage cans all along the burning streets of fire and through the flaming doors of Temple Shearith Israel and the shocking truth behind der Kriegen's true identity.

"Captain America - Kriegen!" Will capture the very best of Marvel's Golden Age heroes and will focus on Captain America's toughest battle -not only with the Nazi Kriegen, but his own battered soul!

With my proven ability for creating solid plotlines involving true historical events and characters coupled with accurate artistic depictions, we will bring about an original, thought-provoking and highly entertaining story arc, reminiscent of a true "Golden Age" tale.  We will revisit some of Cap's greatest adventures and reintroduce readers to Betty Ross, (who eventually takes on the guise of 1940's heroine, "Golden Girl"), Sgt. Fury's Howling Commandos and even the original Human Torch, who all aid our hero in a battle that spans continents and a world at war.  Readers will leave with a lasting impression of land armies, air armadas, heroism and sacrifice.

You're too modest Billy. lol
Actually, this sounds frickin' great. I could just see your artwork totally bringing this to life. Good luck with this pitch.

Does this takes place before Bucky was killed speaking of which if u check out the new Amazing Spider-Man where spidey is riding a missile and Cap has a flashback of Bucky doing the same.

Anywho, this really sounds like a great story. Something Stan Lee or Joe Simon should've thought of.  A Super Soldier Nazi would make a great battle.  Well Billy, An Ultimates version of the Golden Age Cap wouldve been a cool idea, but i guess Millar probably has dibs on it. One think that wont work with the Ultimates is that Sgt. Fury was in the Viet Nam war in the Ultimates storyline.

Oh okay Frank.  I didn't know that Fury was in Vietnam not WW2.  We decided to leave Bucky out (put him on a war bonds tour or something) because of all that Marvel has going on with him at the moment.

Thanks Joe.
I think I'll post issues 2,3, and 4 up (for one hour each) as well. JCV hasn't yelled at me yet.   I don't want to spoil it especially if it happens.
