For The Few

The Undaunted is an upcoming series from Crusade Fine Arts. The Undaunted chronicles one of the greatest feats of heroism and sacrifice in modern history. It is based on the true story of how a handful of pilots, backed by the spirited people of England met and pushed back Hitler's vaunted Luftwaffe. The Battle of Britain lasted two months in which legends were born and thousands died. It was the turning point of the war and it showed the world that the dominating war machine of Nazi Germany could be defeated.

The Battle is told through the eyes of an American volunteer. He is a fictional character based on the eleven American pilots who answered the call of another's freedom as their own country felt it best to turn its back.

After The Battle, 235 more Americans would risk prison and their own citizenship for what millions already knew - that the world must be saved from the holocaustic forces of tyranny, oppression and terror.

By war's end, over one hundred of them paid the ultimate sacrifice.

The Undaunted is dedicated to the men and women of the Royal Air Force. But it is also my honor to make special mention to De Peyster Brown, Carl R. Davis, Arthur G. Donahue, William M.L. Fiske, John K. Haviland, Vernon C. Keough, Philip H. Leckrone, Andrew Mamedoff, Otto J. Petterson, Hugh W. Reilly and Eugene Q. Tobin.
