Hello All,
Well, I’ve had some nice phone and email correspondence with Dark Horse on the new Shi series. They all seem very excited and I’ve got to send Mike Richardson the new pitch. I’ll probably go and break down the first story arc too. I’m going to shoot for an ongoing series with them broken down in arcs of four issues. The first I think will be a prequel to “The Way of the Warrior” and about how the sohei ghosts actually came to her. It should be pretty frightening but also real interesting. I have to see, perhaps I’ll do “Ring of Fire.” I’m also itching to draw the book, but if I saddled up with deadlines from Marvel or DC, (which I’ve got two planned projects) then I’ll get Sparky to draw it. I think he’d be perfect and can start on it right away. I’d rather draw the prequal arc than “Ring…” but have to plan it all out so we’ll see a lot of Shi rather soon. I’m a bit on the fence and have to make a nice publishing plan to move forward. How do you guys feel about Sparky drawing the book? Would you like to see the next arc be a prequel to WOTW or a sequel to Ju-Nen? I’ll post this question on the forum too.
